Built in 1874 Tregarton Cottage stands at the entrance to Tregarton Park, our touring and camping park. The cottage has undergone a complete renovation to a very high standard and conforming to all regulations.
Property Description
Ideal for the family of 4 it has two bedrooms, one with a 5ft double bed and the other smaller room with two 2ft 6” single beds. The single beds can be zipped together to create a 5ft double if required. There is a modern bathroom with a shower over the bath, w/c and wash basin that is set in a vanity unit. There are extensive views from the upstairs rooms across the fields at the rear and over the holiday park at the front. Looking south there is a glimpse of the sea from both bedrooms.
The kitchen/dining room is 26ft with windows to both the front and back. Fully fitted kitchen with cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The sitting room overlooks the side garden and out to the front. For your entertainment there is a 32” television with freeview and DVD player.
While staying in the cottage you will have full use of the facilities on the holiday park. These include the all weather tennis court, children's playground, swimming pool, shop, take-away and laundry and drying facilities. Please take special note of the opening and closing times of these facilities as they do not operate all season.
With both coastal and countryside views, Tregarton Cottage is ideally situated for visiting big attractions such as the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Eden Project and the Flambard Experience, as well as the quaint harbour village of Mevagissey. There is a public bus service to Mevagissey (4 miles) and St. Austell (8 miles), which stops at the entrance to Tregarton Park (timetable is available from our links page). In the ancient village of Mevagissey you can browse around the galleries and craft shops, giving you an insight into the history of the area.
